NONWOVEN
GEOTEXTILES are planar, permeable, polymeric materials used for the
functions of separation, filtration, drainage and protection in
Civil Engineering applications.
TUFLEX INDIA brings to you a wide range of world class nonwoven,
needle punched Polypropylene or Polyester geotextiles. These
geotextiles are tested in accordance with internationally accepted
ASTM and BS standards. The geotexiles are resistant to ultraviolet
degradation and to all biological and chemical environments normally
found in soils. |

APPLICATIONS |
NONWOVEN
GEOTEXTILES facilitate reliable and cost effective solutions, easy
and rapid construction, longer operational life and lower
maintenance costs in diverse areas of application. |
Subsurface Drainage:
Tuflex Nonwoven geotextiles serve as excellent filters, allowing
subsurface water to flow into the drains while preventing adjacent
soil from clogging the system.
Pavement and Rail Track Separation :
Providing a nonwoven geotextile at the interface between subgrade
and the pavement and rail track bed helps to extend the life of
these structures by preventing penetration of aggregate or ballast
into the subgrade and pumping of fines. |
Asphalt
Overlay:
Tuflex nonwoven geotextiles absorbs asphalt tack coat to form a
moisture barrier. It also retards reflective cracking by absorbing
shearing stress. It thus increases pavement life and reduces
maintenance costs.
Hard
Armour Underlayment:
Tuflex nonwoven geotextiles can obviate the build up of excessive
hydrostatic pressures beneath the revetment and prevent migration of
subsurface soils through the erosion control system. |
Geomembranes Protection :
Tuflex nonwoven geotextiles can be used as protective cushions for
Geomembranes eliminating the risk of damage from sharp objects
through puncture, impact of abrasion. |
Drainage Systems in Landfills :
Used in conjunction with Tuflex geonet or a granular drain, Tuflex
nonwoven geotextiles can filter soil and waste while allowing water
and leachate to pass.
Gas
Venting :
Tuflex nonwoven geotextiles facilitate collection and lateral
transmission of liquids and gases that may build up beneath flexible
geomembranes used in the closure and capping of waste facilities.
