Water Management Systems: Canals & Reservoirs

Water is a precious resource and very scarce and also becoming increasingly costly to transport.

Many types of lining systems have been used to reduce seepage losses since early times such as soil liners, paving bricks or blocks and bitumen with the development of the Geomembrane industry, it has become possible to achieve drastic reduction of seepage losses fro geotechnical water proofing applications.

Irrigation canals carry large quantities of water over large distances. A lot of water is lost to surrounding soil/earth during this process by way of seepage.

Tuflex Geomembranes are used as impervious lining for various water management applications. Lining of irrigation canals and reservoirs with Tuflex HDPE Geomembrane ensures complete impermeabilities and prevents seepage loss and achieves major water savings.
