Tuflex
High Strength Uniaxial geogrids are an ideal solution for
reinforcement of Slope and Slip Repairs.
Especially embedded geogrids are required to be installed in layers
in case of steep slopes (usually angle greater than 45° ). These geogrids are wrapped around on the facia using sand bags to provide
a natural appearance. Over a period of time vegetation cover ensures
that the geogrid is no longer visible and we get a green finish
which is extremely attractive. This significantly minimizes the
impact on the environment by creating flexible structures that
occupies lesser area.
In case of slip repairs for failed slopes, we can excavate and reuse
the existing local soil by reinforcing this with layers of Tuflex
Geonets. This repair can be carried out at a low cost and minimum
disruption to the traffic.

In case of slopes which are much flatter (usually less than 45° )
the usual solution is to use Tuflex Geonet on the surface along with
top soil which encourages quick vegetation growth. This leads to a
permanent solution which controls erosion in the future. |
